What is ED(Erectile Dysfunction)?
ED stands for “Erectile Dysfunction” is and is one type of male sexual dysfunction.
In Japan, an estimated 11.3 million men are thought to have ED, with 1 in 3 men over the age of 40 are affected.

Treatment
Oral Medication (PDE5 Inhibitors)
PDE5 is an enzyme that breaks down cGMP, a signaling molecule involved in the nitric oxide pathway.
This enzyme is mainly found in the corpus cavernosum, the spongy tissue inside the penis.
When a man is sexually stimulated, the level of cGMP increases, causing the blood vessels in the penis to widen. This increases blood flow and leads to an erection.
ED medications work by blocking the action of PDE5.
By inhibiting this enzyme, cGMP is not broken down, making it easier to maintain an erection.

ED Treatment
Our clinic provides four types of medication, each with different characteristics.

This medication is a generic version of Stendra® (Stendra tablets).
It is a next-generation ED treatment originally developed in Japan by Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Corporation.

ED Cause-Screening Blood Test
The causes of erectile dysfunction (ED) are divided into psychogenic, organic, and mixed (both).
Psychogenic ED is erectile dysfunction with no physical problem. Tension, anxiety, stress, and other psychological or mental issues cause the inability to achieve an erection.
Organic ED is ED caused by physical problems, specifically vascular or nerve disorders, or low male hormone levels.
Especially in people with lifestyle-related diseases such as high blood pressure or dyslipidemia, blood circulation worsens, making ED more likely due to causes such as arteriosclerosis.
